💫Hiwa-i-te-rangi and our adventures to Broadhaven Reserve💫 Today we caught the teal bus all the way to Broadhaven Reserve. We stopped for a short morning tea, before setting off in search of some beautiful taonga (treasures) in the form of natural resources, for our aspirations display. Together we shared a karakia, thanking Tāne Mahuta (God of the Forest) for these special taonga. After lots of adventuring, we made the short trip back to preschool on the bus, ready for lunch and a well deserved moe (sleep).

🇳🇵🌟 Happy Losar 🌟🇳🇵 We were lucky to have the opportunity to celebrate Losar at preschool today. Pema came in dressed in her special chuba (traditional dress) and had made some delicious khapse (losar pastries) for kaiako to taste! We enjoyed traditional music, which we played on the projector and our tamariki eagerly danced along to this with enthusiasm! Pema had also brought in some chuba to share with friends, which they were excited to try on throughout the day!
